Key Responsibilities
As a Film Lab Technician, your primary focus will be maintaining the integrity and quality of our film processing and scanning services:

Film Processing: Safely and accurately developing C-41, B&W, and E6 films (Full training provided – keen interest is the key requirement).

Scanning & Quality Control: Producing high-resolution, colour-accurate scans and performing meticulous checks on all processed orders.

Lab Maintenance: Managing chemical preparation, equipment calibration, and ensuring the lab workspace remains impeccably clean and organised.

Data Management: Accurate logging and tracking of all film orders and lab records.

A methodical, highly organised, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.

A reliable team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Eagerness to keep learning advanced lab techniques and maintain quality assurance standards.
Advantageous Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

Prior darkroom experience.

Familiarity with film scanning hardware and software.

Any history of developing personal workflows or operating procedures in a previous role.

There’s just something about film and the development of it that intrigues me as well as excites me, the process is that of not only craftsmanship but also love, a love for what you do and produce and it’s something I have always dreamed of doing.
