Kodak VISION3 is a color negative movie film characterized by its ability to record a wide dynamic range with increased highlight sensitivity.

With the removal of the Remjet layer and the incorporation of a process-surviving antistatic and scratch-resistant back side layer, VISION3 no longer attracts unwanted sediment and provides a cleaner image for scanning and printing. To ensure sensitometric consistency and interchangeability with previous stocks during shooting, processing, and splicing, VISION3 features an anti-halation protective undercoat layer (AHU) on its emulsion side, and its film support remains an acetate base.
